Firm Leadership

Shane Kavanagh
CEO
Shane is our firm’s CEO – where he plays a fundamental "swingman" role between the worlds of client development and project delivery. Prior to Pinbar, he previously led a specialized rollout studio at a nationally-ranked A&E firm for fifteen years.
During this time, he worked with Fortune 500 brands across the retail, restaurant, hospitality, and financial industries to scale their national survey and implementation programs.
Born in Ireland, Shane originally moved to the United States as a professional horse jockey. After his riding career, he pursued his degree in architecture from the University of Kentucky. In total, he has over 30+ years of experience delivering projects in nearly every state.

Robert Ausdenmoore
MANAGING DIRECTOR & CMO
As Managing Director & CMO, Robert is the head of Pinbar’s client development and operational functions. He has nearly sixteen years of industry experience supporting architectural rollout, prototype design, and standards management.
Beyond Robert’s day-to-day responsibilities, he has also authored thought leadership for industry publications including Chain Store Age, Modern Restaurant Management, and Building Design + Construction.
Outside work, Robert is an avid gardener, model builder, and baseball fan - at one point even supporting his beloved Cincinnati Reds as an in-booth play-by-play statistician for national TV broadcasts. He is a proud graduate of Ohio University and member of the Cincinnati Public Radio Community Advisory Board.

Rob Rink, RA AIA
PROJECT ARCHITECT & CAO
Rob is Pinbar’s Chief Architecture Officer and the primary architect of record for all of the construction documents we produce as a firm. An AIA and NCARB licensed architect in half the country, he is an instrumental figure in both the development of our deliverables as well as quality control governance across our full team.
Rob is a founding member of the Pinbar organization, and former signing architect for another national architecture firm for over 26 continuous years. He is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati’s College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning.
Away from the professional world, Rob is an active member in local parish organizations, an 80's metal fan, and a sometimes-beleaguered Cincinnati Bengals season ticket holder.
